You'll visit individuals in Spruce Pine and the broader Mitchell County area, including towns such as Bakersville, providing valuable support in the comfort of their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
• Review each patient's medical history, current conditions, and medication regimen
• Offer education on medical issues and proper medication usage
• Identify care gaps and recommend appropriate next steps
• Visits may include both annual assessments and post-discharge check-ins
• No need to develop treatment plans or prescribe medicationsfocus on evaluation and education

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
• Set your own schedule based on your availability

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
• Active BLS CPR certification
• Board certification through AANP or ANCC
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
• At least 6 months of experience as an NP is preferred

Compensation includes $80-$90 per evaluation, along with a mileage stipend and administrative time.
