Surgical Technologist Certified

StoneSprings Hospital Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring an OR Scrub Tech/Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room under the supervision of an OR Registered Nurse. Job Summary and Qualifications The OR Scrub Tech/Surgical Technologist provides sterile surgical field setup and assists with patient positioning, instrument handling, and supply management during surgeries. Responsibilities Set up the sterile surgical field using aseptic technique, incorporating knowledge of human anatomy and physician preferences for instrumentation, suturing, passing, dissecting, retracting, and closing of surgical wounds. Assist the circulating Registered Nurse with operating room setup, equipment, patient positioning, and instrument table break‑down. Perform supply management duties. Qualifications Surgical Technology Program graduate or equivalent training (required). Certified Surgical Technologist and licensed with the Commonwealth of Virginia (required). Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
