Job Description
Exciting Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology RN Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Shift: Day, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab (IR-only experience not accepted)
- Schedule: 4 - 10-hour days per week with an average of 8-10 call shifts/month (includes weekends)
- Local Candidates: Not accepted (75-mile radius rule)
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS

Skills and Competencies:


- Expertise in both Interventional Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Radiology
- Proficient in:
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
- IABP Placement/Removal
- Impella Insertion
- Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
- Central Venous Access - Non-tunneled/PICC placement
- Dialysis Graft Interventional
- Chest Tube Placement
- And many more specialized procedures!

Patient Care Details:


- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
- Diagnoses: Cardiac Cath patients (diagnostic and interventional) and IR lab patients requiring various procedures
- Daily Operations: Work alongside interdisciplinary support teams including IV, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and more

Miscellaneous:


- Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
- Epic charting experience is essential
- RNs may be required to float within the facility
