About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Global Program Lead for an exciting and challenging role in oncology. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of developing a PD-L1xVEGFF bispecific antibody for a range of solid tumors, in collaboration with an external partner. This leadership position requires a strategic, problem-solving, and action-oriented scientific leader with a strong background in the drug development process, particularly in the oncology field. The role involves creating and executing effective development programs, engaging cross-company expertise, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality assets to commercial with a competitive profile. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving the program's strategy to meet ambitious portfolio objectives. Applicants for this role at the company should have an advanced degree (MD, PhD, DVM, PharmD, MBA) or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the drug development process, including leadership experience. Expertise in oncology, particularly in lung cancer, and a deep understanding of disease biology, pharmaceutical optimization, and clinical pharmacology are essential. The role demands a leader with a proven track record of influencing and working across complex, global organizational matrices, as well as experience in regulatory interactions, clinical trial design, and commercialization strategy.
