About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVOR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for all types of CVOR cases
• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting
• Participate in on-call coverage, including 1–2 days per week, 1 weekend per month, and holiday on-call as applicable
• Float to general OR and an offsite cardiac location as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner (Surginet) charting system

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate for CVOR cases
• Level I Trauma experience required
• PA Fingerprinting (Childline) required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner (Surginet) electronic health record system
