About the Position

As a Sr. Fullstack Engineer, you will be a technical leader on large-scale projects, responsible for designing and building both new applications and incremental upgrades to existing products. This pivotal role demands deep expertise across the entire development spectrum, leveraging cutting-edge technologies. While a comprehensive understanding of full-stack principles is essential, the primary focus of this position will be on architecting robust backend systems, optimizing operational infrastructure, and seamlessly integrating internal platforms, primarily utilizing GoLang and JavaScript.

You Will:

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure platform services that meet customer needs.

• Lead technical discussions and guide architectural decision-making.

• Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define the technical roadmap.

• Identify and mitigate technical risks and bottlenecks in projects.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the team.

• Troubleshoot complex technical problems, navigating ambiguity and environmental challenges.

• Work effectively with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years as individual contributor

• Proficiency in architectural design principles in Golang, with an understanding of how they differ from other object-oriented languages.

• Demonstrated experience building applications using various SQL and NoSQL datastores (e.g., Postgres, Redis).

• Ability to assess and apply both microservices and monorepo approaches effectively, understanding their practical tradeoffs.

• Proven experience implementing and maintaining RESTful server APIs for diverse frontend clients.

• Strong grasp of modern, containerized DevOps and cloud environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes in GCP).

• Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)

• Proficient in AI-assisted programming using Large Language Models

• Extensive experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD), with a keen understanding of their optimal application in different scenarios.

• Proficiency in real-time communication protocols such as WebSockets and WebRTC.

• A "player-coach" mentality, enjoying collaboration with and mentoring junior developers across a broad spectrum of technologies.

• High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
