Test TechnicianLocation: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite) Pay Range: $34 - $44/hr. Duration: 6 Months Shift: Thursday - Monday; Swing Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM)Top SkillsExperience leading QA testing efforts for software releases and executing complex test cases, documenting results, and reporting defects using tools such as TestRail and Jira.Proficient in JIRA/Confluence (or Azure DevOps) and have at least 2 YOE running complex testing or vehicle testing.Basic QA testing experience and proficiency with MS Office/Google Suite.ResponsibilitiesLead software release testing to ensure quality standards are met and confirm readiness before deploymentSupport vehicle operations and mission supportConduct basic software operation tasksSupport missions through a wide variety of roles in and out of vehiclesAssist with documentation and metricsProvide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teamsAssist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readinessAnalyze vehicle logs and test data using in-house tools to trace failures for root cause analysis, documentation, and communicationSupport defect management process from recognition to resolutionExecute mission prep procedures, which include, but are not limited to, launching software across several devices per vehicle, verifying SW and HW configurations, deploying SW as appropriate, capturing requested data, and escalating issues as they arise.Write targeted test cases for Emergency/Maintenance releaseExecute testing and data collection to evolve processes and tools to support observed customer needsUphold a safety-centric, inclusive, and open-communication cultureMove manual in-vehicle test cases to simulation env. to reduce execution timeQualificationsProactive mindset and resourcefulnessPossess a "get it done" attitude, safety-first mindset, and a sense of urgency to resolve problems and tasks.Must have the proven ability to problem-solve and deliver in high-pressure situations.Works well in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTechnical SkillsExperience leading QA testing efforts for software releasesProven experience executing complex test cases, documenting results, and reporting defects using tools such as TestRail and Jira.Proficient in JIRA/Confluence (or Azure DevOps)Have at least 2 YOE running complex testing or vehicle testingBasic QA testing experienceProficiency with MS Office/Google SuitesPreferred QualificationsAbility to code in Python (or other language)Experience with communication buses (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, etc.)Scripting experience with a high-level language (e.g., Python)Education: Benefits Summary: Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
