Tax Sr. Associate

Senior Associate – Tax Team This hybrid role is based in Dallas, TX or Raleigh, NC and supports our tax reporting processes and client relationships with hedge fund and private equity clients. Visa sponsorship will not be provided. Responsibilities Prepare partnership tax allocations using the aggregate methodology Prepare monthly tax compliant trial balances Provide U.S. tax analysis of transactions, including wash sales, Section 1256, holding period analysis, constructive sales (Section 1259), straddles (Section 1092), original issue discount (OID), market discount, derivatives (e.g., notional principal contracts, options, forwards, futures), and unrelated business taxable income (UBTI) Liaise with client’s external tax advisors Maintain a high level of client relationship attention Support special projects as assigned Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 2+ years of experience in a relevant tax or accounting position Eligibility to take the Uniform CPA Examination (CPA designation is a plus) Proficiency in Excel and Word Detail-oriented, organized, punctual, meticulous, and reliable #J-18808-Ljbffr HedgeServ Corporation
