Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CT Tech to join a fast-paced, Level I trauma and Stroke Center. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of CT experience and be capable of handling advanced imaging systems and software.

Responsibilities:

• Operate GE CT scanners and ensure high-quality imaging consistent with clinical protocols.
• Utilize Cerner EMR and Fuji PACS systems efficiently during image acquisition and review.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic images.
• Adhere to department policies and safety standards, including maintaining proper certification and licensing.
• Document procedures and ensure timely delivery of images for interpretation.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of recent CT imaging experience.
• Hold a valid state license to practice as a radiologic technologist.
• Certified through ARRT and BLS certification through AHA.
• Experienced with GE CT scanners, Fuji PACS, and Cerner EMR preferred.
• Capable of working a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Prior experience in a trauma or stroke center is advantageous.
