Histology Technologist / Technician

Seeking an experienced Histology Tech for a full-time role at a laboratory facility. Key Responsibilities Include Receiving and preparing tissue specimens for diagnostic examination Performing complex histological procedures such as grossing, embedding, microtomy, and staining Reviewing slide quality and maintaining laboratory equipment Ensuring adherence to safety, quality control, and quality assurance standards Disinfecting work areas, stocking supplies, and participating in lab procedures and quality improvement activities Qualifications And Skills Required Bachelor's degree in Laboratory or Biological Sciences ASCP or AMT certification as a Histology Technologist/Technician required or eligibility to obtain certification within 12 months Prior histology experience preferred Ability to exercise critical and independent judgment and work with a diverse client population Additional Details Must follow established standards and collaborate respectfully with healthcare personnel Participate in procedure review and policy updates Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement efforts #J-18808-Ljbffr CARIN Alliance
