Highlights Pay: $166,400 - $239,200 Annually Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: Nursing Operations Management - MSH Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Lead nursing practice using the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care. Demonstrate proficiency in Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR) and role model expected behaviors. Ensure integration of PHR into clinical activities to enhance patient care. Confirm staff members round hourly on all patients through validation data review. Validate Associate Director/Clinical Nurse Manager competency in PHR and provide feedback. Synthesize feedback regarding patient experience and staff engagement for action plans. Follow up on patient concerns in a timely manner and provide service recovery as needed. Design and lead a safe, therapeutic patient-centered care environment. Identify and investigate issues in practice/operations and develop corrective action plans. Lead interdisciplinary quality improvement teams using high reliability principles. Requirements Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master's degree in nursing or health-related specialty required; Doctorate preferred. Experience 7+ years of clinical and administrative expertise in nursing practice. Licenses & Certifications Current RN License in New York State. Professional Board Certification in leadership and/or clinical specialty strongly preferred.
