The company plans to develop future habitats and systems for the Moon and Mars, dedicated space stations for government partners, and other crewed systems that will unlock the expanding long-term space economy.Vast is looking for a Teamcenter Administrator, reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering Information Systems, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of human-rated space stations. This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location. Responsibilities: Provide daily PLM support to engineering teamsPerform root-cause analysis for issues pertaining to user accounts, access rights, material management, queries, part families, system integrations, preferences, and general configurations.Support workflow processes and propose design changes and improvements. Convert Teamcenter/NX requirements into system configuration changes following company processes Gather, document, & refine Teamcenter/NX requirementsCoordinate contractors converting user requirements into Teamcenter/NX configuration changesParticipate in performing & testing Teamcenter/NX patching, versioning, and upgradesDevelop and maintain user documentation, best practices, specification and training materialsProvide ad-hoc Teamcenter/NX user trainingMinimum Qualifications:BS in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience3+ years' experience administering NX and TeamcenterExperience working in a design or manufacturing environmentPLM concepts/functionality, design best practices, industry/drafting standards, PMI/GD&T familiarityProgramming skills (Python, C++, KF, Visual Basic, NX Open) a plusActive Workspace Client (AWC) integration/visualization experience a plusComfort with ambiguity, strong communication skills, working knowledge of design principlesNX Administration/Configuration experience, including NX Part FamiliesProduction-environment support experience with Teamcenter 4-tier architecture and Rich Client/AWC-NX integrationPreferred Skills & Experience:Experience with facilities within an aerospace industryFamiliar with space planning procedures and operationsKnowledge of computer applications and the ability to easily navigate through different computer software programsAbility to create and update request for proposals (RFPs), purchase orders (POs) and facilities work orders in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) softwareAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to make independent judgments with limited informationCommunication skills for relaying data (verbally and in-writing) between other employees, vendors, and customersLogical and strategic approach to solving problemsAbility to read and understand basic floor plansComfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time, and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic direction.Additional Requirements:Willingness to work overtime, or weekends to support critical mission milestonesPay Range: Teamcenter Administrator Level II: $98,000.00 - $139,000.00Senior Teamcenter Administrator: $120,000.00 -$171,000.00Pay Range: California$98,000—$171,000 USDWe calibrate level and compensation to the selected candidate's experience and demonstrated capability.
