Job Title: Windchill Technical Consultant
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually
Experience Required: 6+ years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Technical Consultant to design, develop, and support customizations, workflows, and integrations on the PTC Windchill PLM platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windchill Java API, Info*Engine, workflows, lifecycle management, and PLM customizations .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Windchill customizations using Windchill Java API and PTC best practices.
• Configure workflows, lifecycle templates, Object Initialization Rules (OIRs), and Info*Engine tasks.
• Build custom services, listeners, integrations, and JSP/HTML extensions.
• Develop reports, support data migrations, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver scalable PLM solutions.
• Support upgrades, troubleshoot production issues, maintain documentation, and mentor junior developers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of PTC Windchill development experience.
• Strong expertise with Windchill Java API, Info*Engine, workflows, lifecycle templates, and OIRs .
• Experience with JSP/HTML customization, SQL, and the Windchill data model .
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades, migrations, and integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• PTC Windchill certification.
• Experience with Creo, Arbortext, ThingWorx, or Windchill RV&S (Integrity) .
• Familiarity with CAD data management workflows.
• Experience deploying or supporting Windchill in cloud environments.
