This position is with a very progressive, well-run, and financially stable Federally Qualified Health Center.Salary and BenefitsThe pay for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 (based on years of experience)Fiscal year bonus based on productivityHealth Insurance Employers Pays: (1st day of the month following 60 days)100% for Employee80% for Family PlanDental Insurance / Vision InsuranceDental benefit at dental center for employee and family with no premiumsLife Insurance at 2x annual salaryRetirement Package – 401(K) with 3% Match (After one year of employment)Student loan repayment through the NHSC120 hours of paid vacation in first year and 160 hours each year afterAdditional accrued PTO up to 88 hours each year10 paid holidaysCME Time Off – 1 week of time toward and $2,500 annuallyProfessional liability insurance through FTCA at no cost to employeeRelocation Assistance AvailableResponsibilities4 Day Work Week | 100% Outpatient14 – 16 Patients of All Ages Per DayAppropriate clinical documentation through their Athena EMRPerform vision tests, analyze results and develop a treatment plan.Examine eyes using observation, instruments and pharmaceutical agents, to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or color blindness.Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.Prescribe therapeutic procedures to correct or conserve vision.Provide pre and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery, for example, examining a patient's eyes the day after surgery.Work closed with primary care providers in the provision of team delivery of healthcare.Maintain accurate, timely and quality health records.Participate in all quality measures as required.RequirementsNew Graduates WelcomeClear and Active Medical Doctor License in the State of MaineBoard Certified or Board Eligible in OptometryActive DEAAbout UsTitan Placement Group is a permanent placement healthcare recruiting firm that is bridging the gap between healthcare companies and high-quality candidates.
