About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Metro Atlanta area, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio; every other weekend required; no call coverage; float within facility/scope of practice as needed

Highlights:

• Dynamic Emergency Department with 34 rooms and approximately 150 daily census serving all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Diverse case mix including HTN, diabetes, CHF, ESRD, CAD, abdominal pain, STEMI/NSTEMI, pulmonary embolism, COPD, and behavioral health
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers welcomed with minimum 2 years of experience required
• 13-week assignment with orientation provided; maximum 7 days requested time off available (blackout dates April 5-11, 2026)
• Holiday expectations apply based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (GSCC and EBRR can be completed onsite)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 4:1 patient ratios in Emergency Department settings
• Core competencies: ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, procedural sedation, IV starts and maintenance, phlebotomy, triage, and managing violent behavior
• Preferred: Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I or II experience
• Full compliance required by start date; incomplete compliance results in 2-week postponement due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
