EDI Specialist

EDI Specialist will play a key role in maintaining seamless digital communication between Labcorp and its partners-ensuring accurate data flow, compliant systems, and exceptional support for both clients and vendors

Job Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting and assistance to clients and vendors, focusing on single and small practices or EMRs (Electronic Medical Records)

• Interpret and analyze HL7 order and result messages to develop recommendations and solutions.

• Manage and drive multiple projects to completion across all phases within corporate-specified deadlines.

• Communicate with clients and vendors via phone and email.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients to ensure their support and continued business.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-up to clients and vendors.

• Collaborate with various functional groups, including sales, lab operations, and third-party vendors, to resolve client issues promptly.

• Analyze client ordering patterns to identify issues early and enhance electronic ordering and resulting processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree

• 2 years or more of experience in healthcare EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) or project management EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) with a focus on single and small practices or EMRs (Electronic Medical Records)

• 2 years or more of experince working within healthcare EDI workflows and protocols including Data Preparation, Transmission and Transmission and Translation & Integration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 2 or more years of interfacing with medical practices with laboratory services EDI

• 2 or more years of Labcorp experince working with EDI

• 5 years or more of Lab experience

• Applicants who live within 35 miles of either Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility

Pay Range: $65,420 - $85,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
