Job Description Insurance Sales Agent - Sales Experience Required Diamond Guard Insurance | Allstate Agency | Bedford, TX Full-Time | In Office | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission Before You Apply: Prior sales experience is required for this position. You do not need insurance experience and you do not need to already have an insurance license. We can teach insurance and provide the assistance to become licensed. What we are looking for is something different: someone who already knows how to sell . You should have experience talking with prospects, identifying needs, presenting solutions, overcoming objections, asking for the business, and working toward measurable sales goals. Customer service or client-facing experience without a demonstrated sales component does not meet the experience requirement for this position. This is also a full-time, in-office position in Bedford, TX. It is not remote or hybrid. As a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent , you’ll help Texas families protect what’s most important to them with Auto, Home, Renters, Umbrella, Motorcycle, Boat, and other personal insurance solutions. We provide a steady flow of sales opportunities, a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, training, coaching, and a proven sales process. Your job is to turn those opportunities into customers. A sales professional who follows our process, consistently works their opportunities, and achieves expectations can reasonably target $70,000+ in first-year total compensation , with the ability to earn more as performance grows. No. Insurance experience is not required. Sales experience is. We can teach you insurance products, systems, and processes. We’re looking for candidates who already understand the fundamentals of selling and have demonstrated that they can produce results. Do I need an insurance license before I apply? No. You do not need to currently hold an insurance license to apply. What kind of sales experience are you looking for? We’re looking for candidates who have been responsible for producing revenue or achieving measurable sales goals. Your experience should include activities such as identifying customer needs, presenting solutions, handling objections, following up with prospects, and closing sales. Customer service experience without sales responsibility is not considered qualifying sales experience for this position. Will I have to purchase my own leads? No. We provide a steady flow of sales opportunities. We also encourage our sales representatives to maximize their results by developing referrals, networking, and building their own pipeline. Is this commission only? No. You’ll receive a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission. What can I reasonably expect to earn? Someone who follows our sales process, consistently works their opportunities, and meets performance expectations can reasonably target $70,000+ in first-year total compensation.
