POSITION SUMMARY: This is a non-supervisory position that provides police protection within the City of Danville along with related duties as required.

This is a skilled police position providing safety to the citizens of Danville, KY, and the work performed is required with a high level of initiative, integrity, trustworthiness, and ethics . The position will be subject to all the laws and regulations of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and work is performed under direct supervision in accordance with well-defined departmental policies and procedures.

COMPENSATION:


• The salary range for this position is $53,199 - $69,079 plus KLEFPF incentive.


• The starting salary will be commensurate with the candidate's level of police service experience.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:


• HS Diploma or GED.

• Must possess and maintain a valid drivers' license

CERTIFICATIONS:


Current Kentucky Police Certification
