Work alongside a collaborative team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians in our Physical Therapy Clinic located in Southwest Beaverton. Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: Primarily responsible for checking in and out new/established patients and scheduling appointments in an efficient and timely manner. Performs front office duties as necessary including medical records requests, answering telephones, and providing information. Obtaining and completing insurance information. Processing of incoming referrals and electronic fax submissions. Updating registration and EMR records as needed. Other duties as assigned. Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: Level I: $19.59 - $26.51 per hour. Level II: $21.55 - $29.16 per hour. Level III: $23.71 - $32.07 per hour. Workdays: This role will be primarily located in The Oregon Clinic Creekside Pavilion in Southwest Beaverton. Occasional coverage will be required on an as-needed basis at the Physical Therapy East Clinic located in Northeast Portland, where initial training may also be conducted. Typical hours are Monday-Friday (Work hours can be 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 4:00 pm, OR 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, depending on other staff schedules, with candidate preference considered). Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience, and values including: Minimum of one (1) year of work experience, preferably in a medical office, is preferred. Two (2) years of medical office experience are strongly preferred! Specialty care Physical Therapy experience is a plus! Prior experience in complex scheduling is preferred. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. EPIC experience is a plus! Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures. Familiarity with insurance requirements and referral processes. Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask. Excellent attendance and work ethic. Positive attitude and desire to be a team player. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
