Patient Registration Representative

Our client located in Peterborough, NH is looking for a Patient Registration Representative to join their growing team! Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3 years of recent, relevant medical office experience, including medical scheduling/registration experience Understanding of medical terminology is preferred Computer proficiency and accurate typing skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) required, Paragon EMR a plus Positive demeanor and professional written/verbal communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment Benefits $19-$21/hour, depending on experience Temp-to-hire opportunity with great benefits upon hire Full-time schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm Duties Greet patients and answer phones, address questions, and assist with registration forms Gather demographic and insurance/financial information, and enter into database Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations for services Work with patients, physicians, and third parties to coordinate care in a timely and effective manner Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations Help train new employees and support team efforts Provide exemplary customer service Other tasks as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr Masiello Employment Services
