Class A CDL Truck Driver

On site position. Responsible for safe and efficient movement of trailers to and from dock doors. Communicate all movements to shipping lead.

• Must be able to safely and effectively operate a hydraulic fifth wheel and TADC with 53' dry van.
• Responsible for safe movement of trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Physical ability to repeatedly climb in and out of tractor to hook and unhook trailers.
• Ensure trailers are clean and free of debris before putting to dock.
• Adhere to all company policies.
• Adhere to all State, local, and Federal laws.
• Ensure load is secured before dropping trailer.
• Communicate all issues related to the yard operations to manager on duty.
• Ensure that all appropriate asset repairs are noted and corrected prior to preloading assets.
• Perform a daily shift communication transition prior to the start of the shift.

Class A CDL Truck Driver: Corrugated Logistics assesses driver applicants on standards for performance, stability, dependability, and honesty. Regardless of experience level, all candidates must meet the following requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid Class A CDL without airbrake restrictions from the state that you declare to be your point of permanent domicile.
• Three (3) years of verifiable experience operating a CMV – 12 months or 150,000 miles.
• Read, write, speak, and clearly understand the English language.
• DOT applications must be complete and accurate and should:
• Include (7) year MVR with application.
• Reflect all periods of employment, unemployment, self employment, and education for the past 10 years. All activities in the last three (3) years must be verifiable.
• Must meet or exceed the medical standard of DOT, including passing a physical exam and drug test administered by a company approved facility.
• Possess a valid Social Security Card.
• No reckless driving violations in the last ten (10) years.
• No suspension of license in the last ten (10) years.
• No moving violations in the last three (3) years – No more than one (1) moving violation in the last five (5) years – No at fault accidents within the last five (5) years – No more than two (2) moving or non-moving violations in a five (5) year period. – 1 -3 years no more than one (1) moving violation. 2 -5 years no more than 2 moving violations.
• No failed or refused drug or alcohol test.
• No felony convictions within the last ten (10) years from the time restitution was completed. Convictions older than ten (10) years will be considered on a case by case basis.
• No controlled substance events – No crimes against another person of ANY type.
• Misdemeanors will be considered on a case by case basis.
• No DWI, DUI, BAC, or Open Container convictions in the last ten (10) years.
• Present a clean and professional appearance.
• Successful completion of Corrugated Logistics road test.
