Chief Financial Officer

The client is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help shape the next chapter of organizational growth and impact. The role supports a mission focused on improving food access and advancing community health, with services reaching neighbors across a multi-jurisdiction region. As the organization expands in scale, complexity, and innovation, the CFO will help strengthen the organization’s financial infrastructure and modernization efforts to maximize community impact. The CFO will report to the Chief Executive Officer, serve on the leadership team, and partner closely with the Board of Directors and its Finance Committee. Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership and hands-on oversight of all financial functions, acting as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, and maintaining strong financial discipline in a dynamic environment. In addition, the CFO will function as Chief Compliance Officer, overseeing enterprise-wide compliance, risk management, and internal controls. The CFO is expected to guide ongoing modernization of financial systems and help scale the finance team to support growing programs and increasingly diverse funding streams, alongside government and regulatory oversight. The ideal candidate is likely an experienced finance executive who can lead change, strengthen controls and risk practices, and drive organizational performance with transparency and accountability.
