Job Summary:
The position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical with telemetry at a healthcare facility in Los Angeles, California. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a Level I and Level II trauma center environment, with a focus on acute and high-acuity cases. The position requires strong EMR proficiency and experience in trauma settings, making it suitable for experienced professionals with a diverse background in emergency and medical-surgical nursing.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in California; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic arrhythmia recognition skills are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma level 1 and 2 centers, with additional teaching hospital background; proficiency in Cerner, Meditech, and Epic electronic medical record systems.
• Additional Information: Must be flexible to float within scope of practice; experience with high-acuity patients and diverse EMR systems preferred.
