Team Missions

The PayPay Product Team aims to go beyond QR code payments, using payment functionality as a starting point to find new ways to make everyday life easier and deliver greater value to our users.

Every word in the PayPay app plays an important role in shaping the user experience. We are looking for a UX Writer to join our team and work closely with designers to create products that put the user experience first.

Job description

As a member of the UX Writing Team, you will create, proofread, and propose clear, user-friendly English UX copy for the PayPay app. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to improve the overall user experience.

You will work alongside other UX writers, with support from the UX Writing Team Lead and Manager.

Main Responsibilities

・Write clear and concise English microcopy that follows our voice and tone and writing guidelines
・Collaborate with designers, product managers, stakeholders, and other UX writers to improve UI copy and user flows
・Maintain consistency across products by contributing to and improving our writing guidelines
・Identify opportunities to improve UX writing processes and workflows, including through the use of AI

The Experiences You Will Gain

・Work on a diverse range of features and develop a uniquely comprehensive knowledge of the product and its many experiences
・Be a pioneer of UX writing in Japan leading in the industry
・Work with a team of UX writers

Required Skills

・Native-level English proficiency, with the ability to write clear and natural English copy
・Strong Japanese communication skills, both written and spoken, with sufficient proficiency to discuss detailed and nuanced topics with team members
・Either A or B below:
A: Japanese to English translation (3 years minimum), or Japanese to English localization (2 years minimum)
B: UX or content writing experience in English (2 years minimum)

Preferred Skills

・Basic knowledge about websites and mobile apps (iOS/Android)
・Basic user flow and UI design knowledge

#### 勤務時間

• スーパーフレックス制（コアタイム無し）


• 原則：午前9時～午後5時45分（実働7時間45分＋休憩時間 1時間））

#### 休日

• 土日祝日、年末年始および会社指定日

休暇（法定 休暇 および会社 福利厚生）

• 年次有給休暇(初年度14日間、入社月に応じて按分付与。入社日から使用可）
• パーソナル休暇（毎年度５日間付与/初年度入社月により3日間もしくは5日間付与）

※PayPay独自の特別有給休暇制度で、本人/家族/ペットなどの病気/ケガ/通院付き添い等にご使用頂けます。

• 年俸制（一部固定残業代含む）
