Join our team as a full-time Obstetrician/Gynecologist in Kamuela, Hawai‘i, where you will serve a diverse patient population and thrive in a collaborative work environment.

In this role, you will be part of a 35-bed rural acute-care hospital, allowing you to develop your skills and establish your own patient panel. • Full-time employment opportunity
• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient services
• Flexible scheduling: 3 days per week in clinic, 1 day per week with dedicated OR time, and back-up call with CNM 1-2 days per week
• Weekend call required once a month
• Manage 30 to 40 deliveries monthly
• Clinic patient volume: 16 to 20 patients during an 8-hour shift, depending on the mix of GYN and OB cases
• Collaborate with CNMs in labor and delivery as well as in the clinic
• Support APRNs in the clinic setting

• Guaranteed salary with potential for performance-based incentives
• Annual compensation ranging from $382,000 to $420,000
• Relocation assistance available

• Board eligibility or certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is mandatory
• NRP certification required
• Experience in low-resource, rural environments is preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of experience is ideal, though new graduates are encouraged to apply

Located on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, our facility is a 35-bed rural acute-care hospital serving Waimea and its neighboring areas. With over 300 employees and more than a dozen physicians, we provide care at the main hospital and outpatient clinics at Lucy Henriques Medical Center.
