Company Description TeachRobots AI is a training data platform for humanoid robots, enabling AI and robotics labs to access high‑quality, real‑world demonstrations of everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and object handling. The company builds and manages a global network of verified contributors who record task demonstrations from their homes using phones or cameras. These recordings are carefully verified, processed, and delivered as structured training data for embodied AI and vision‑language‑action models. TeachRobots AI focuses on solving a critical bottleneck in robotics development by providing diverse, scalable, real‑world data. The company is in a high‑growth phase, onboarding founding contributors and partnering with leading robotics labs. Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Commission Sales Associate role based in Princeton, NJ. The Commission Sales Associate will identify and qualify prospective robotics labs, AI companies, and research institutions, conducting outreach via email, phone, video calls, and in‑person meetings. The role includes managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation and product demonstrations through to proposal, negotiation, and closing, with earnings driven primarily by commission on new business. The associate will maintain an organized sales pipeline, update CRM records, and provide accurate revenue forecasts. Day‑to‑day responsibilities also include collaborating with product and operations teams to refine messaging, collecting customer feedback, participating in events or conferences as needed, and representing TeachRobots AI in a professional, inclusive manner. Qualifications Sales and business development skills, including lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals. Communication and relationship‑building skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and client relationship management. Negotiation and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible terms and tailor pitches to customer needs. Organizational and time‑management skills, including effective use of CRM tools, prioritization of accounts, and follow‑through on commitments. Interest in or familiarity with AI, robotics, or technology services, with the ability to learn product details quickly. Comfort working in a commission‑driven environment with performance‑based goals and measurable sales targets. Ability to work on‑site in Newark, NJ, collaborate with a small team, and adapt in a fast‑changing startup environment.
