Applications Engineer- SOC Firmware

Job Description Applications Engineer- Embedded Firmware Overview: MPS is seeking a highly self‑motivated Applications Engineer with good knowledge in embedded firmware for different applications. This person will develop firmware for a embedded power and IoT Projects (MQTT, Actuators, Sensors). Essential Functions: Analyze and evaluate SW requirements for development the solutions. Design & Implement the software considering the hardware design. Work with hardware team to define the implementation of the optimal solutions Perform system and low level testing of implemented solutions Work with our test equipment tool in define new needs Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering; MS is preferred Some exposure to IoT MQTT, or other network based communications protocol Experience with ARM-based MCU is preferred Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving environment Make it happen attitude. Adapt to the situation and find the way to solve the problems and work around.
