Licensing Associate (External Agency Staff) New York Summary The Licensing Associate plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the licensing operations for licensees within the NFL. This position involves handling all aspects of licensee onboarding, management, and coordination of premium activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across various teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities Oversee a portfolio of 50+ premium Licensees and serve as the primary point of contact Review and provide feedback on licensee artwork submissions to ensure compliance with brand standards Work with Consumer Products team to negotiate, draft and execute new licenses and renewal contracts Liaise with NFL Clubs and sponsors regarding promotional product inquiries, providing guidance and conducting presentations as necessary Develop and distribute updated NFL Premium Guidelines and Licensee Lists to Licensees, NFL Clubs, and sponsor contacts Create and manage giveaway procedures for NFL tentpole events (Super Bowl, Pro Bowl Games, Draft, Combine, etc.) Facilitate retailer classification within royalty reporting system and communicate with licensees to ensure timely submissions Assist with additional projects within the Consumer Products department as needed Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience Detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels Capacity for creative and strategic thinking to contribute innovative ideas Self-starter who can work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Strong team player with collaborative cross-functional skills Experience thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Proficiency in delivering clear and compelling written and oral presentations Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges proactively Other Key Attributes / Characteristics Self-motivated, analytical thinker who enjoys working collaboratively Terms / Expected Hours of Work This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
