Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON)

Location: Evans, GA | Full-Time (On-site)

Professional Summary

Seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations across Skilled Nursing, Personal Care, Memory Care, and residential service s. Responsible for clinical quality, staffing, compliance, resident care, and nursing team leadership.

Key Requirements

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing administration experience, preferably in long-term care
• Minimum 2 years of geriatric nursing experience and/or a BSN
• Experience overseeing nursing operations, staffing, scheduling, and clinical care
• Strong knowledge of resident-centered care and regulatory compliance
• Experience with MDS, Medicare documentation, assessments, and care planning
• Ability to recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and develop nursing staff
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to provide on-call support as required

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program graduate
• Skilled in staffing, scheduling, hiring, training, and performance management
• Strong knowledge of senior care and clinical operations
• Knowledge of federal, state, local, HIPAA, and organizational healthcare standards
• NADONA certification and participation in geriatric-focused professional organizations are a plus
