EHS Coordinator (Commercial Construction)A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to support and strengthen its safety and environmental compliance programs across multiple active projects.The EHS Coordinator will work closely with executive leadership, project managers, and field teams to promote a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate risk across all jobsites. This EHS Coordinator role offers strong visibility and long-term growth potential within a stable organization.Key Responsibilities:Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining company-wide safety & health programsEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state/local regulationsConduct jobsite audits, inspections, and hazard assessmentsSupport incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsMaintain OSHA logs and assist with workers' compensation coordinationHelp deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training programsTrack safety metrics (EMR, TRIR, DART) and support improvement initiativesAssist with insurance audits and preconstruction safety planningQualifications:3–5+ years of construction safety experience (commercial preferred)Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulationsExperience supporting safety across multiple jobsitesOSHA 30 required; CSP, CHST, or similar certifications preferredBachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Willingness to travel to project sitesThis EHS Coordinator opportunity is ideal for a safety professional looking to grow with a respected commercial contractor in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
