Job OverviewThe Fountains at Hosanna! is conveniently located in Lakeville, adjacent to Hosanna Church. We are less than a mile from Highway I-35 and near County 77. The Fountains offers seniors 92 Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care apartments. We are known for our exceptional staff, who create a warm, friendly, fun community.The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.This caregiver schedule includes:32 hours every two weeks; Part TimeOvernight shift; 10:00pm - 6:00amShift differential +$2/hrEvery other weekend and holiday rotationResponsibilitiesPersonal Care Assistance: Supports residents with daily living activities, including:BathingFoot and fingernail careShavingDressingHair careFeedingToiletingAssistance with hearing aids and/or glasses1-2 person transfers and use of mechanical liftsHealth-Related Support:Assists with treatments as outlined in individualized care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (e.g., blood glucose monitoring).Administers or assists with medications, including insulin injections, as directed by a Registered Nurse.Takes and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.Daily Living Support:May assist with household tasks including laundry, cleaning, meal service, and resident activities.Resident Observation & Reporting:Monitors and reports changes in residents' physical or emotional condition (e.g., mood, appetite, weight).Communicates observations to appropriate staff and contributes relevant input to care planning.Acts as a mandated reporter, promptly reporting any concerns related to potential mistreatment.Emergency Response:Responds appropriately to resident needs and building emergencies, following established protocols.Required QualificationsLess than 1 year of experienceAbility to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machinesIf under 18, must be on the MN NA registryPreferred Qualifications1-3 years of experienceBenefit OverviewEbenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
