What You'll Do: Load or assist in loading trailer with materials Unload or assist in unloading trailer by using forklift or hand truck Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers, according to state laws Transport loads over required route to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct standard DOT truck inspection Complete all company and DOT required paperwork Complete shipping bills of lading, receive necessary signatures, and return completed paperwork to shipping office Maintain any related records required Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires on a daily basis Report any maintenance malfunctions to maintenance dept Other duties as assigned What You'll Bring: A CDL Class A and Hazmat endorsement required Must have a driving record that meets company standards Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds What You'll Get: Home Every Night – Enjoy the stability of local work without long hauls or time away from family & friends Stability – Full-time hours (40+ hours per week), with busier days during peak season that allows for overtime pay Safety First – We maintain the highest safety standards to support you and your team Excellent Benefits – Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, a retirement program with generous employer matching, paid time off, and access to an Employee and Family Assistance Program Purpose – Every delivery you make helps put food on table in your community and across the world The estimated salary that Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn suggested does not represent Nutrien's compensation structure. The salary range for this role, in Coachella, CA location, is between $20.00 - $28.75. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location. We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week.
