The Retreat Club, located in Davenport, FL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Bartender/Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This position is a dynamic role that goes beyond traditional bartending responsibilities. While the role does include working behind the bar preparing beverages and assisting guests, the primary focus will also involve actively servicing our pool deck and common areas by engaging with guests, taking food and beverage orders, delivering excellent customer service, and preparing drinks as needed. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced hospitality environment while helping drive guest satisfaction and overall revenue growth. The regular schedule for this position is Thursday through Sunday, with additional opportunities to pick up shifts when team members call out or take vacation time. Flexibility and reliability are extremely important for this role. Responsibilities Providing excellent guest service in a professional and friendly manner Taking and delivering food and beverage orders throughout the deck/pool area Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas Assisting with opening and closing duties Promoting menu items and specials to help increase sales and enhance the guest experience Working collaboratively with management and fellow team members Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should have: Previous bartending and/or serving experience preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills A positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in an outdoor environment Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts as needed We are looking for someone who takes pride in hospitality and enjoys creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
