Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Unit Information

Unit: Emergency Department

Common Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure

Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun

Number of Beds: 64 (including 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych)

Shift Information

The position requires availability for night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. While block scheduling is preferred, it is not guaranteed. Flexibility to float to other units may be necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department with pediatric experience preferred.

Travel experience is required.

Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand).

Active NY RN license and all relevant licenses to be verified through NURSYS Report.

Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required.
