Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Valid RN license in Kentucky Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB Must-Have Skills/Experience: Kind, caring, and compassionate personality Description: The position involves working as a registered nurse specializing in medical surgical care. The facility provides 107 beds, and all are private rooms. The hospital serves as the sole provider of acute care in the region. Duties will include caring for patients with common diagnoses such as COPD, post-operative joint patients, and diabetic populations. Patient ratios can be up to 1:6 with PCA assistance. Staff will be expected to float to similar units as needed. Flexible weekend availability may be required. Candidates must possess required certifications before starting. Dress code includes scrubs of any color, but branded attire from other facilities is not permitted.
