The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.## Benefits* **\*Up to $25/HR For The Most Skilled General Service Technicians*** **Paid Vacation & Paid Holidays*** **Climate Controlled Shop Area (AC & Heat)*** **Closed Every Weekend To Spend Time With Family & Friends*** **Employer-paid Financial Wellness Program and App, SmartDollar & EveryDollar*** **Realtime Technical Support*** **Toolbox Relocation Assistance*** **Healthcare Benefits Available*** **Matching Retirement Plans*** **On-Going Training & Career Advancement*** **ASE Certification Reimbursement*** **Chaplain Care Support Available**## Hiring Locations551 Old Greenville Highway, Clemson, United States, 29631## Responsibilities* General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform all maintenance and repair services including but not limited to; oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and more* Perform Digital Vehicle Inspection following CBA Standards for ALL vehicles* Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively* Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections* Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate* Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know* Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by Management* Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions on a guest's vehicle* Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization## Qualifications* At least 1 year of experience as a General Service Technician required* Successfull completion from an accredited technical automotive program preferred* Current driver’s licenses* This is an entry level position. We would prefer a high school or equivalent diploma, but this is not required.## Physical Requirements* Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds* Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head* Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair* Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools* Walk/stand for the majority of the workday* Drive manual transmission vehicles* Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment* Efficiently navigate a computer## Additional InformationChristian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
