In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload of misdemeanor and felony matters, appear regularly in court, and provide strategic, client-focused advocacy. Responsibilities Represent clients in all stages of criminal proceedings, including arraignments, pre-trial hearings, motions, and trials Develop and execute effective defense strategies tailored to each client’s unique situation Conduct in-depth legal research and draft motions, memoranda, and other key legal documents Negotiate skillfully with prosecutors to achieve favorable outcomes for clients Provide proactive and compassionate client communication throughout the legal process Maintain detailed, organized case files and documentation Supervise and mentor paralegals and support staff Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to ensure top-tier representation across all cases Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California Minimum of 3–5 years of criminal defense experience preferred Strong courtroom presence and confident advocacy skills Exceptional legal writing, research, and negotiation abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software Why Join Us?
