You will be supported by a strong collaborative team, an expanding surgical volume, and the full resources of a robust national health system network. Join an established team of 10 physicians and 17 CRNAs Practice setting: Inpatient Enjoy a high level of clinical autonomy practicing across a full perioperative mix—including OB/Gyn, Bariatrics, Orthopedics, Plastics, Vascular, and General Surgery with no open-heart cases, no complex pediatrics, and very limited trauma exposure as a Level III facility Flexible staffing system offers a variety of shifts tailored to support a positive work-life balance, alongside rewarding opportunities to preceptor SRNAs from three premier local training programs CRNAs are expected to perform advanced procedures (CVCs, arterial lines, US-guided peripheral nerve blocks, and epidurals/spinals), and the department provides dedicated, supportive training and mentorship for any procedures where you want to build confidence Employed position within a nonprofit health system Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nurse Anesthesia Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration About The Facility 254-bed hospital with 19 OR suites Trauma designation: Level III Serving a population of approximately 738,000 Integrated referral network Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension Physician-led, collaborative culture Long-term practice stability National network with local autonomy Mission-centered care rooted in service What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Anesthetist credentialed from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Master's or Doctorate of Nursing Anesthesia Practice or Nursing Practice required.
