Job Responsibilities
- Develop Tailored Treatment Approaches: Recognize each patient's unique needs and formulate personalized therapy strategies to help achieve their functional objectives.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones in therapeutic techniques that foster continued improvement at home.
- Track and Adjust Treatment Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the path to success.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Continuing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
- A robust passion for people and a sincere desire to assist others in achieving their greatest independence.
- Excellent empathetic communication skills with both patients and team members.
- Ability to think innovatively and adjust plans to accommodate diverse patient needs.
- Confidence in working both autonomously and within a cohesive, interdisciplinary team.
