Event StaffDo you love hospitality, working with people, and being part of a great event?Weekender is building a Per Diem Event Staff Pool to support events across our properties. This is a flexible, as-needed opportunity for hospitality professionals who enjoy jumping in where they're needed and helping create memorable experiences for our guests.Our events vary from private dinners and celebrations to weddings, corporate gatherings, group events, and special experiences. Depending on your skills and interests, you may support our events in the front of house, back of house, bar, or kitchen.What You May DoWe typically hire per diem event team members for several areas:Event Setup & Back of House SupportSet up and break down event spaces, tables, chairs, linens, equipment, and other event materialsAssist with moving supplies, furniture, and equipment as neededHelp keep event spaces clean, organized, and ready for guestsSupport event teams throughout setup, service, and breakdownJump in wherever needed to help the event run smoothlyEvent ServersProvide friendly, attentive service to event guestsSet and clear tables and assist with food and beverage serviceServe plated meals, buffet service, passed appetizers, and other event offeringsMaintain clean and organized service areasCommunicate guest needs and requests to the appropriate team membersHelp with setup and breakdown before and after eventsEvent BartendersPrepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beveragesProvide friendly and responsible bar serviceSet up and break down bar areasMaintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked barMonitor guest needs and communicate with the event teamFollow all applicable alcohol service and safety requirementsEvent Kitchen StaffAssist with food preparation, plating, service, and event executionSupport chefs and kitchen leadership before, during, and after eventsHelp maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and service areaAssist with event setup, breakdown, dishwashing, and general kitchen support as neededFollow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen proceduresWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for people who are:Reliable and dependableComfortable working in a fast-paced event environmentFriendly, professional, and guest-focusedWilling to jump in and help wherever neededAble to work well as part of a teamComfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays when events require itAble to arrive on time and ready to workComfortable working on their feet for extended periodsExperienced in hospitality, events, food & beverage, or customer service preferred, but not required for every positionFor bartending roles, prior bartending experience and any required certifications or permits are preferred/required based on the location and responsibilities.The DetailsEmployment Type: Per Diem / As Needed Schedule: Event-based; schedules vary by property and event Availability: Primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on event needsThis is a great opportunity if you're looking for flexible hospitality work, supplemental income, or occasional shifts around your existing schedule.Interested?When you apply, let us know which type of event work interests you most and which Weekender locations you're available to work at.We'd love to have you join our event team!
