Maintenance Technician
Required Skills & Experience- 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, food production, packaging, or a similar industrial environment
Experience performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting production equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience working with packaging lines, combination weighers, seal machines, VFDs, sensor calibration, and coder feedback systems
Boilers, air compressors, and HVAC systems Siemens equipment experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Food manufacturing equipment or food facility maintenance experience
Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a leading food manufacturing facility in Middlebury, IN. This is a highly specialized maintenance role focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background within a manufacturing, food production, or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues impacting production
Support the operation and reliability of food processing equipment
Assist with calibration, system adjustments, and continuous improvement efforts
Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime
The schedule is Mon-Thurs, 5am-2pm with some occasional Fri hours as well.
The pay range starts at $30/hr. The candidate will be a direct-hire, permanent employee eligible for benefits including insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, employee discounts, and free employee meals.
