Know your way around a commercial fryer and enjoy staying busy? Join the kitchen team behind some of Bavarian Inn Restaurant's most popular dishes!

Our Fry Cooks work in a busy, high-energy kitchen to prepare hot, consistent, high-quality food for our guests. We're looking for someone who can stay focused under pressure, communicate with the team, and work with a sense of urgency to keep orders moving. Commercial fryer experience is preferred, but we'll also consider someone with restaurant kitchen experience who can quickly learn the station.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare fried menu items according to established recipes, cooking times, and quality standards
• Safely operate commercial fryers and monitor cooking temperatures
• Coordinate multiple orders while maintaining proper timing and food quality
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards

Qualifications:

• Commercial fryer or professional cooking experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of fryer operation, safety, temperatures, and timingor the ability to learn quickly
• Able to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced kitchen
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to work as part of a team
• Willing to learn our menu, recipes, and kitchen procedures

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 3+ months of restaurant or commercial kitchen experience; fryer experience preferred
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and remain standing or walking throughout the shift
• Comfortable working around heat, hot oil, and commercial cooking equipment

Uniform: Black pants, black slip-resistant shoes, and a white collared shirt or chef coat
