Civil Designer - Federal

Civil Designer Location: Columbus, OH GPD Group is a leading provider of architectural, engineering and planning services. We are seeking a Civil Designer to provide site designs for federal-focused programs. The ideal candidate will possess: Associate’s degree in Civil Tech Engineering or Engineering Design (preferred but not required). 3+ years of experience with site planning, engineering and plan coordination. Familiarity with Civil 3-D and AutoCAD. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask and stay organized across multiple projects. Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information. Valid Driver’s License. Day-to-day job responsibilities: Site planning and coordination. Grading and storm water management design. Design coordination with internal engineers and architects. Background coordination with our internal team of surveyors, environmental specialists and geotechnical crew.
