Opportunity Highlights Provide full-time urology locum coverage for up to 9 months, starting as soon as credentialed. Engage in a collaborative environment with cross-credentialing across three prominent facilities. Enjoy a structured call schedule with a variety of cases that ensures professional growth and engagement. Work within a supportive team that includes 2 other physicians, 5 RNs, 2 MAs, and 3 APPs. Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient and streamlined patient management. Practice Setting and Clinical Scope This position is based in an inpatient setting within a well-supported healthcare system. The facilities range in trauma level from 1 to 4, providing a diverse environment for practicing general urology. Daily responsibilities include handling a variety of procedures such as cystic lithotripsy, nephrectomy, transurethral resection, prostatectomy, and pselolithotomy. The role is primarily focused on providing call coverage, with APPs handling inpatient rounding and initial ER call contacts during daytime hours. Schedule and Assignment Details The assignment involves a 24-hour call schedule with a response time required within 30 minutes. This locum tenens position offers the flexibility to cover a range of dates throughout the year, providing the opportunity to work around personal commitments. The anticipated start is as soon as credentialed, with a typical duration of 6 months or more, ensuring continuity and stability. Support and Work Environment As part of a well-coordinated team, you will be supported by a robust infrastructure that includes experienced nurses and medical assistants. The facilities offer advanced surgical technologies such as XI and SI, with block time available for procedures. The team environment promotes collaborative care, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while having the backup of experienced colleagues and staff. Qualifications Board Certification in Urology is required. A Washington State medical license is highly preferred; however, candidates with LOQ for IMLC or those in the process of obtaining a WA license will also be considered. BLS certification is mandatory. A clean malpractice and background history is highly preferred. Must be able to provide a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of application.
