- Provide comprehensive clinical documentation, including care plans each shift.
- Actively seek feedback about your practice and implement improvements.
- Communicate vital patient information to ensure safe care through:
- Bedside shift reports
- Multidisciplinary rounds
- Hourly Rounding (AIDET)
- Achieve unit-specific competencies and fulfill all learning modules in a timely manner.
- Contribute to a culture of well-being by addressing alarm fatigue and enhancing the work atmosphere.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff by following established procedures.
- Identify and help correct patient care safety issues, promoting a Just Culture Environment.
- Engage in daily unit-based safety huddles to enhance team communication.
- Stay updated with unit-based nurse-sensitive indicators, including CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, HAPU, FALLS, HH, and VAE.
- Participate actively in quality initiatives and performance improvement projects.
- Collaborate with nursing colleagues across departments, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Seek opportunities to assist fellow team members generously.
- Develop and implement personal performance goals based on self-assessment and feedback.
- Ensure patient education materials are culturally competent and accessible.
- Serve as a preceptor for new nurses, providing guidance and support.
- Participate in DNV survey readiness and peer feedback processes for annual reviews.
- Demonstrate commitment to shared governance and positive unit philosophy.
- Effectively delegate nursing care and unit activities to support teammates.
- Collaborate with nursing students and instructors to foster learning.
- Maintain current nursing licensure and certifications as required.
- Engage in essential duties related to Occupational Health by entering orders and documenting tests per protocol.

Job Requirements


- Current New Hampshire RN license required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred.
- Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge preferred or to be acquired before completing orientation.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or to be obtained prior to completion of orientation.
