Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Title: Blow Mold Operator 3rd Shift

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Pineville, North Carolina

Start Pay Rate: $11.50 Per Hour + Bonus Total Compensation: $15.00/hour Paid every Friday.

Schedule: 3rd Shift: Monday to Friday 10:00 PM 6:00 AM

Job Summary

The Blow Mold Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring blow molding equipment to produce quality plastic products according to production standards. This role performs equipment setup, visual inspections, measurements, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, inventory management, and accurate production documentation. The ideal candidate has experience in plastics manufacturing, strong attention to detail, quality control knowledge, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic blow molding machines.
• Assemble and position parts using templates and precise measurements.
• Conduct visual inspections and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to ensure product quality.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment in compliance with company procedures and regulations.
• Manage inventory of supplies, including ordering and verifying deliveries.
• Complete accurate production documentation and forms.
• Pack finished products for shipping or storage.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in plastics manufacturing, specifically blow molding injection.
• Proficiency in reading calipers and other measuring instruments.
• Demonstrated skills in process inspection, product labeling, and packing.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and reject management.
• Ability to read and interpret production forms and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
• Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
