A Billing Representative working on the UPHSM team is an essential position for creating efficient and timely patient flow. You will perform many different functions in a billing capacity and you will help ensure the accurate and timely submission of insurance claims. You will enjoy working in a dynamic environment and will focus on a variety of tasks and the details that come with them. Each patient is unique, so being able to interact with many different types of people will be important for your success. You will be joining a cohesive team of individuals with many different skillsets which can provide you the opportunity to learn and grow. Qualifications Required Skills Our patients and the care they receive is our highest priority. An ideal candidate will take pride in putting their best foot forward every day to make sure that the UPHSM team has the patient on the forefront of everything we do. The use of basic office equipment will be important for your success, this includes the use of computers, fax machines, copiers, etc. Representatives will be able to exhibit stellar customer service to our patients. An ideal candidate will be able to adapt quickly to change and handle multiple tasks at once. Light physical effort may be required including lifting 10 pounds or more, prolonged standing and walking, and manual dexterity.
