Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families. You will be expected to implement bedside shift reports and foster personal connections with patients while including them in their care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vitals and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Assist in the maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Start IVs and perform basic wound care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Experience in a Med/Surg setting
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively
