We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion to join our family at St. Johnsbury Center for Living and Rehabilitation, a premier residential, long-term, rehabilitation, and subacute care provider. As a Companion , you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
Provide companionship, emotional support, and social interaction to residents, promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and other daily tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
Encourage residents to engage in activities, hobbies, and interests, promoting mental stimulation and socialization
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring continuity of care
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in customer service, consistently exceeding resident expectations
Requirements:
0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (training provided)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
