About the Position

Job Title: Surgical Technician Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NOC Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the operating room; 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience; Minimum of 1 year of travel in the last 3 years License: Not specified Certifications: Certified with NBSTSA or NCCT Must-Have: Minimum of 3 years of OR experience preferred Description: All shifts will be rotating (days, evenings, nights). Call and weekends are required. Call can be during the weekday and/or weekend. Weekends can be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Call response time is 30 minutes. In-house call rooms are available for use if needed. Candidates must be certified with NBSTSA or NCCT; other types of certification or uncertified candidates are not acceptable. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room out of the last 3 years is required; 3 years is preferred. Candidates should have at least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience in the last 3 years. A minimum of 1 year of travel experience in the last 3 years is required. Candidates must be able to scrub all cases as required. Strong skills (rated 3 or 4) in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant procedures are needed.
